The boots themselves are in excellent condition, however, they have been poorly restored (not by my cobbler!): the sole is replaced with an ultra grip sole, but there are some irregularities on where it’s fused to the boot. The insole has been removed and replaced by a burgundy glued-in insole. The square front tip has been chafed off.
The logo on the insole and the trademark nude soles with ribbed patches have been destroyed by it. For authenticity questions, please refer to the comparison images of another pair of Bikkembergs mountaineering boots. The logo engraved in the heel is exactly the same font-and style-wise, as is the font and design of the production and size stamp on the sole.
